Week 2 was massive with big performances from Forest Park, Stan Nelson, Ray-Pec, and the Olathe Twilight, among others.
Below are the top boys performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Week Two.
Congratulations to Parkway Central's Brendan Alfonso for winning our Week 1 poll! We saw two strong performances from Alfonso that week: a 9:48.60 2 mile for 4th at the Fleet Feet Cross Country Classic and a 16:04.06 5K at the Parkway Quad on his tough home course. He's part of a scary top 3 for the Colts. He will move on to the finals during the week of the State Championships, where we will determine who had the top performance of the regular season!

Chael Lichte - Lexington - Lichte (pictured above) had a massive race at the Forest Park Festival, picking up his 3rd win of the young season with a 58 second victory over his teammate in the White Division. His 16:10.90 mark was a 5 second personal best for the junior who finished 14th in Class 3 last season.
Graham Stevener - Kirkwood - The arrival of Stevener to the XC lists has caused a major shakeup in the Class 5 outlook. Stevener's first career 5K was a doozy, as he posted a 15:23.20 for the win at the Stan Nelson Invitational.
Todd Yeates - Liberty - Yeates led three Liberty Blue Jays under 15:40 at Saturday's Olathe Twilight. They were the top Missouri team with a 15:54 average while Yeates, the 45th place finisher in Class 5 last year, posted his personal best 15:24.70.
Hunter Stahl - North Point - Stahl had a massive 39 second personal best on the Gans Creek course this weekend, winning the Father Tolton XC Invitational in 15:47.61 and setting the standard for the state course for this season.
