Between three different divisions and runners from through the region, there was one consistent feature out of the Rim Rock Farm HS Classic on Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.
That was the dominance of Kansas runners.
In all three divisions, a Kansas runner took home first place in an overall field that featured more than 700 total runners.
The fastest race was the Gold Division and Topeka Seaman's Ryin Miller ran 17:14.10 to win, besting a pair of Salina Central teammates in Kaylie Shultz (17:17.40) and Katelyn Rupe (17:20.30).
Miller has won all four of her races this year and took third at the KSHSAA 5A State Championship last year.
The top 10 had runners from five different states.
Colorado: Rosie Mucharsky, Denver East, 5th
Iowa: Anika Mohrhauser, Ankeny Centennial, 7th
Missouri: Kayleigh Norris, Harrisonville, 6th; Elyse Wilmes, Father Tolton Regional Catholic, 8th.
Nebraska: Kate Ebmeier, Millard West, 9th.

Millard West won the team title with 109 points, followed by Denver East (163) and Father Tolton (185).

Smith Center's Madison Howland won the Crimson Division in 18:35.50.
The sophomore, KSHSAA Class 2A champion last year, stayed perfect this fall with her third win and was two seconds off her personal best time.
The top 10 after her featured runners from Kansas, Colorado and Missouri. Fort Collins' Delaney Johns was third and teammate Sorrel Salcido took fifth.
Andover's Madelyn Wallace was the runner-up in the race, while teammate Jordyn Cleary was fourth. Seven of the top 10 were from the Sunflower State.
Union's Viola Johnson, an all-state runner in Class 4 last year, was the highest placer from Missouri, taking 9th in a field of 212 runners.
Fort Collins was first with 86 points, easily ahead of Andover's 181. Maize South took third with 219 points.

The largest race for the girls was the Blue Division with 315 runners.
Eudora's Hanna Keltner picked up her third straight win on the season with 19:13.80. She took first place the previous weekend at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
Keltner had a comfortable margin of victory, nearly 30 seconds ahead of Paola freshman Ella Needham. Missouri runner Ilene Limberg from Owensville was third at 19:45.80.
The only school with multiple top-10 placers was McCool Junction, Nebraska. Kayleigh Betka was fifth and Leah Dawson took 10th. Betka was one of three freshmen in the top 10. The other was 10th-place finisher Kelly Frank from Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City.
Kansas teams went 1-2-3 in the team standings the featured 41 teams.
Buhler won with 241 points, followed by Eudora (256) and Scott Community (276).
