POLL: Missouri Girls XC Runner of the Week (Sept. 23-28)

A massive weekend of meets is behind us and the rankings have experienced major shakeups. We are ready to vote on who was the top performer of, quite possibly, the biggest weekend of the regular season.

Below are the top girls performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Girls Runner of the Week for Week Four

We had a tie in Week 3! Ava Doll and Gabrielle Moresi tied for the win with exactly 527 votes each. In her first cross country campaign, Joplin's Ava Doll is pushing herself into the conversation as a top Class 5 runner already after running 18:31.60 at the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday. She has also run 19:12 and 19:25 this season. Moresi won the 60th Annual Cape Tigers Invitational in a course record 19:30.00 on Saturday. She was coming off a personal best 19:19.00 mark which earned her 8th in the Green Division at the Forest Park XC Festival. They will move on to the finals during the week of the State Championships, where we will determine who had the top performance of the regular season!
