Michael Parrigon left his mark on the McAuley Catholic cross country program, capped with helping the Warriors win the Class 1 XC championship this past season.
The senior took third in the state meet before turning his focus back to playing soccer for the New Heights Christian/McAuley co-op.
A multi-sport athlete at the Joplin parochial school, he will be staying home for college as he signed to run cross country and track and field for Missouri Southern.
He's good at basketball and soccer -- which is in his DNA. His dad, John, played at MSSU and later became the head coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College men's soccer program in Miami, Oklahoma.
