Shout out to last week's poll winner: Harry Mitchell, St. Francis Borgia! Mitchell had a banner day at the All-Catholic Invitational, winning the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes. He set personal bests in all three and now leads Class 3 in the 200 and 400, sitting third in the 100, with times of 21.86, 49.11, and 10.89, respectively. He was also a member of the winning 4x100 meter relay which ran 43.11, third among Class 3 schools. Mitchell will be a part of our end-of-season Athlete of the Year poll.

Corbin Cole - Webster Groves
The Statesmen senior ran two personal records and two top-six state performances at the Kansas Relays. Friday Cole was the top Missourian in the 3200 meters with a MO#6 performance of 9:10.45. Cole returned to the track Saturday, winning the 2nd of 3 sections of the 1600 in 4:16.06 to earn a MO#4 performance list spot.

Sinry Mendoza - Hollister
The junior from the Branson suburb of Hollister and defending Class 3 3200 meter state champion and 800 and 1600 runner-up swept his three races at two different meets -- the Clever Invitational on Tuesday and the Christian County Relays at Nixa on Friday. Mendoza had bests and PRs of 1:56.87 for a MO#7, 4:16.31 for a MO#5, as well as a 9:33.71 for a MO#21 and MO Class 3 #2.

Henry Rohan - MICDS
The Rams Class 4 All-Stater in the 100 and 200 claimed victories in his primary events at Parkway Central's Henle Holmes Invitational. After a prelims 11.07 Wednesday, Rohan blazed the track in Chesterfield with a wind-aided 10.47 seconds (4.0m/s wind) to put him atop the all-conditions state performance list. Rohan placed 2nd in the 200 prelims with a 22.16 and improved to 21.96 in the finals for the victory and the MO#10 spot.

Zane Becker - Rich Hill
The six-time Class 1 All-State jumper earned three victories at two different meets. On Tuesday, Becker won the high jump with a 1.85m/6-0.75'' clearance and the long jump with a PR of 7.11m/23-3.5'' at the El Dorado Springs Bulldog Relays. The long jump mark put him 2nd on the state performance list behind only Hickman superstar Langston Thomas. On Thursday, he flew 6.92m/22-8.5 to win the long jump at the Adrian High School Meet.

Bryson Jacobs - Adrian
West Central Missouri's Adrian High School junior won an epic javelin competition at the Kansas Relays. The Class 2 state runner-up took on and beat the top throwers in the state and the country. He launched the javelin 65.01 meters or 213-3, with four throws over 200-feet and three over 210 to join the 200-foot club and beat fellow 200-foot and 63-meter throwers Preston Brown of Hillsboro and Isaac Woodward of Fort Osage. He now sits atop the US season performance list and leapfrogged Brown and Woodward (MO#4) on the Missouri All-Time list, claiming the state record, which Brown set earlier in the week.
