Saturday

McCluer South Berkley girls with the 1600 Sprint Medley with winning time of 4:13.26. In the boys race Manhattan Kansas takes first with a time of 3:33.36

McCluer South Berkley won the Girls 4 X 200 with a time of 1:44.33 and the Hazelwood Central Boys won the 4 X 200 with a time of 1:28.47

 

 

The girls 4 X 880 yards was a rematch of DMR anchors Chelsey Phoebus off Lee's Summit West Courtney Wood of Neosho. This time it was Courtney Wood prevailing in a time of 9:36.97, Blair High School from Nebraska took home the title with a winning time of 8:03.80

 

 

Witchita-Southeast won the girls 4x100 meter relay with a time of 48.64.  Liberty (42.69) edged out Lee's Summit West (42.89) in the last few meters to take home the victory in the boys 4x100 meter relay.

 

Tiffani McReynolds runs a 13.73 to edge out Breeana Coleman (13.96) to win the 100 Meter Hurdles and record the 4th best time in the nation.

 

 

Andrew Etheridge of Wichita Northwest won the boys 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14:35 over Zach Ferguson of Poplar Bluff.

 

Tiffani McReynolds of Pembroke Hill picks up her third win in the Kansas Relays running 11.79 in the girls 100 Meter Dash.  Ariane Jordan of Blue Springs edged out Machala Wesley to finish 2nd. 

 

Adonis Saunders of Olathe-North wins the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.84, Spencer Davis of Hazelwood Central finishes right behind with 10.87

 

Montenea Roye runs away from the field in the 400 meter dash running a time of 55.93.

 

 

The boys 400 meter dash went down the the wire with Miles Ukaoma winning with a time of 48.18.  Kurt  Pauly was close behind with a time of 48.31 Michael Hester of Hazelwood Central was the top Missouri finisher with a time of 48.86

 

 

In the most exciting races of the day, the 1600 meter boys and girls races did not diappoint.  Sam Levin and Colleen Quigley raced down the home straightaway but Levin pulled away in the last few steps to finish .14 second faster than Quigley.  (5:01.02, 5:01.16)

 

 

Daniel Everett lead the boys 1600 meter race for 1500 meters until Maksim Korolev, Kevin Colon, and Adam Porter overtook the lead.  It appered Korolev would take the 1600-3200 double but Kevin Colon caught him to take home the victory with a time of 4:19.04.  Maksim was close behind with 4:19.11, Porter 4:19.18.

 

 

Hazelwood Central Boys won the 4x400 with a time of 3:20.13 and Shawnee Mission East won the Girls 4x400 going sub 4 in a winning time of 3:58.82

 

In field events Jill Rushin won the Discuss with a throw of 150-07

Friday

In Friday morning action the Lee's Summit West Girls team of Liga Blyholder, Chelsey Phoebus, Ashley Wolkomir & Kayla West won the 4X1 Mile relay with a time of 21:37.70 (A NEW KU Relay Meet record)

St Louis University High Boys team of Caleb Ford, Tim Rackers, Emmett Cookson and Bill Gabler won with a time of 18:21.07, edging Lee's Summit North by just over 9 seconds. Results

Girls 3200: Molly Milbourn 10:52.92, Avery Cliftin 10:57.91, Colleen Quigley 10:59.69, Sierra Jenkins 11:04.04, Courtney Wood 11:07.68

 

Boys 3200 Maksim Korolev 9:13.56, Neil Metler 9:23.70, David Everett 9:24.99, Zach Herriott 9:28.82, Jake Benton 9:31.52

James White of Grandview wins the Boys High Jump with a jump of 6ft 8 inches.

Walter Powell of Hazelwood East wins the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 38.33.

 

Lee's Summit West outkicks Neosho to win the Girls DMR in 12:23.38, Neosho 12:23.86.

 

 

SLUH finishes third in the High School Boys DMR with a time of 10:50.36.

 

In the girls 800, Samantha Levin of Ladue takes the lead from the start winning with a time of 2:14.07.  Jessica Jackson pulls away from Kristie Mullen in the last 100 meters to finish second with a time of 2:15.87.

Reid Buchanan of Manhattan Kansas wins the boys 800 over Brendan Soucie. Dalin Fink finishes 4th to lead the Missouri runners.
