In a March full of early season breakouts, let's take a deeper look into what could potentially be the start of a very successful career for Warrenton freshman Mason Sanders.
This Friday, Sanders continued his hot start to the season, clearing 1.97m (6-5.75) at the North Point Open #2. He is only the tenth freshman to clear that height in state history, according to our database, and is already third ranked among all Missourians and first in Class 4. His personal best coming into the season stood at 1.73m (5-8.25) and he had already cleared 1.95m (6-4.75) earlier this week.
The lanky 9th grader with a jacket which read "Warrenton Basketball" on it caught up with MoMileSplit after his epic climb. Keep an eye on this Warrior as he already has State championship aspirations on his mind.
