Forest Park XC Festival  - Complete Coverage

Stan Nelson Invitational - Ethan Lambert led the Eureka Wildcats to a victor over Lafayette.  Lambert's time of 16:23 was 3 seconds better than Jordan West of Lafayette.  On the girls side, Potosi's Kassie Rawlings won by over 20 seconds with 19:43, while Lafayette accomplished the perfect team score.  They went 2-8, with their 7th runner running 20:32.

Linn Invitational - Kaleb Wilson led a very strong Linn Boys team to 30 point team victory over Fatima.  Wilson won with a time of 16:22 while his teammate, Tyler Rush had a huge PR of 16:30 to collect second place.  On the girls side, Emily Cumpton of Blair Oaks won with a time of 20:11 and Owensville won a close team Battle with 76 points over Blair Oaks who had 80 points. 

 

Missouri XC Challenge - Nicole Mello, a junior from Hickman, blew the field away running an 18:53 to win by over a minute.  On the boys side, Kansas schools overpowered their Missouri counterparts.  Jeremy Byran of Blue Valley West won in 16:00 and led his team to a first place victory. 

 

Ray-Pec Invitational - The Lee's Summit West got back on track winning this week. They were led by freshman Samantha Phillips, who won her first high school race in only her second chance.  However, the overall winner was Sammy Laurenzo of Liberty North.  She broke 19 minutes and led her team to the small school title.   Phillips won the large school division with a time of 19:18, only 3 seconds ahead of St. Teresa's Lane Maguire.  LSW beat St. Teresa's by nine points in the team battle. On the boys, Justin Brown of Truman blew the field away winning by 40 second.  His time of 16:26 is only five seconds off of his PR.  Ray-Pec won the team battle 49-59 over Park Hill.

UCM Mule Run - Samantha Nightingale dominated the field winning by a minute and a half.  Her time of 14:24 for 4K equates to a time of just over 18:00 for 5K.  Lee's Summit North continued their winning ways with a 27-43 victory over Blue Springs South.  The Broncos had 7 out of the top 14 finishers.  Joe Kidd of Fort Osage won the boys race in 13:25 while Warrensburg won the team battle.
