In 2009 Blake won the 1600 & 3200 and finished second in the 800 meters. Blake has a great chance at ending his high school career with 11 gold medals.
In the hurdles, returning champ, Bubba Galvan, is coming off of a season best time of 15.74 where he was the sectional 2 champion. The top time come from Collin Werths, who ran 15.44h to win sectional 3. Also under 15.5 is Seth Shurvington of Bevier High School.
