Taylor Werner who took the state by storm last week at Forest Park took on the tough hills at Sioux Passage on Saturday in the Paul Enke Invitational. Her time of 18:28 almost a minute faster than the 2011 winner Nicole Mello who ran 19:25 last year, and later went on to become a Foot Locker finalist. Werner put an astounding 54 seconds on the returning champ/Foot Locker finalist Nicole Mello who placed secon in 19:22. Werner led her team to victory over St. Teresa's Academy, 71 to 76.
