Angie - Your team is off to a great start in 2012 - Tell us about this group of girls?

We have a really talented group of girls this year, and everyone has been making huge improvements throughout the start of the season. I’m lucky to have such a great team that is always so encouraging and as dedicated to this sport as I am. We are always feeding off each other in practice and we’re looking forward to having a great season!

Senior year! Enjoying the moment?

Yeah, it’s gone by so fast! But it’s looking to be a very exciting year and I just want to make sure I live every moment and leave my senior year on a good note

While much of the buzz was on the top 2 girls at Forest Park you dropped over 1:20 from your 2011 time!! - Tell us about that race and your summer conditioning?

Yeah, Last year was my first season after being out for more than a year with injuries so I was just getting back into training and racing mode. But I wasn’t really satisfied with my performances so I defiantly stepped it up a lot this year and this summer with training hard and putting everything else aside to being more focused on the goals I want to accomplish.

The Forest Park race is defiantly one of my favorite races just because of the great atmosphere and all of the good competition just makes it even more fun and exciting.

Where do you race next?
My next race is Hancock, at Jefferson Barracks
