2018 Fox Invite JV Track Meet
Fox High School
Date: Tuesday April 10th
Location: Fox High School Stadium Complex
General Admission: No admission fee
Entry Fee: Shared Cost
JV Teams: Fox High School, Mehlville High School, Oakville High School, Seckman High School, Mehlville High School.
Entries/Seeding: JV teams can enter 6 athletes in open events, and two relay teams. Athletes are allowed a maximum of four events. Throwing events will be set in flights that are seeded by distance (four throws/no finals), long/triple will be cafeteria style (four jumps), high jump (three attempts per height). We will not have pole vault, our standards are broken.

Track Infield: Please inform your athletes that they will not be allowed on the infield for any reason other than being in the bullpen or warming up for an event. Administration, meet personnel, and approved media have unlimited ability to roam entire infield.
Coachs Box: This area will be located in the east D-zone of the track infield. Coaches will stay in the designated area unless they are actively coaching or communicating with their athletes. Please dont invite athletes into the coachs box for any reason. Absolutely no food, drinks (other than water), sunflower seeds, or tobacco is allowed in the coachs box or anywhere on the track infield.
Track Surface: 3/16 inch spikes and below will be allowed on the track and runways. Please plan to use tennis balls or other stationary objects as markers on the track. No tape on the track or runways.
Dressing Facilities: Locker rooms will not be available unless requested. Outdoor restrooms will be available and they are located on the back of the concession stand. Please inform your athletes that they are not allowed in the school building without permission. Please understand that Fox will not be responsible for missing or stolen valuables.
Concessions: There will be a concession stand available to athletes and general admission, only snacks, fruit, and drinks, no hot food.
Hospitality: There will be food for coaches up in the press box.
Parking: Buses will drop athletes off at the main stadium entrance and then be directed to park in the back of the main parking lot (Near I-55)
Team Awards: JV = 1st Place Trophy for both boys and girls.
Awards: Individual and Relay Medals, 1st - 2nd
Scoring: 6-4-3-2-1 opens,6-4-2 relays
Emergencies: Our athletic trainer, Mary Schmank, and local EMT will be present at the meet.
Work Assignments: Fox High School will provide a judge for all field events but we are asking schools to assist our judges in the following assigned events.
Fox Staff will cover all field events.
