9th Annual DHS Freshman "Pup" Meet
Date: Wednesday, March 30th 2022
Site: J.C. Culwell Stadium at De Soto High School
Entry Fee: $150 per girls team $150 per boys team $300 for both divisions

Time Schedule: 3:30 PM - Coaches Meeting 3:45 PM - Field Events 4:15 PM -Running Events
Awards/Scoring: Individual/Relay Medals 1st - 3rd place. 1st and 2nd place plaques for boys and girls team winners
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Timing: Championship Timing
Surface: 8 lane rubberized track. We allow 3/16" and below spikes on the track and runways.

Entries: Entries will be limited to 3 per event and need to be put into mo.milesplit.com for lane
assignments. Relays will be limited to 1 per school per gender.
Entry deadline for submitting entries will be Tuesday, March 29th @ 6:00 PM
Field Events: Shot put, Discus, Javelin, Long Jump, and Triple Jump
Each athlete will have four attempts
Pole Vault and High Jump
Each athlete will have three attempts per height
All Jumps will be cafeteria style
Miscellaneous: Bathrooms available, however; we do not have locker rooms available. There will be a
concession stand open with drinks, snacks, and food. There will be an area for tents on
the practice field west of the stadium. The turf field will be used as a warm up area.
No gum, sunflower seeds, or food is allowed on the turf. A meal ticket will be issued to
coaches to be redeemed at the concession stand.

Bus Parking: Please refer to the map on the last page for bus parking. We have recently renovated
our parking lots and buses will not be parking on St. Louis street until after 3:00 PM
once our school is dismissed and students have left campus.
