Dear Coach/Athletic Director:
The Annual Plato Cross Country Invitational will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Plato Baseball/Softball Fields. Competitions will be held in the following categories after the Coaches Meeting:
3:30 * Coaches Meeting
4:00 * Jr. High Girls 2.0 Miles
4:30 * Jr. High Boys 2.0 Miles
5:00 * Elementary/Open Race1.5 Miles
5:30 * Varsity Girls and JV Boys 3.1 Miles
6:00 * Varsity Boys 3.1 Miles
Medals will be given to the top 15 individuals in each division and plaques will be given to the team champions in varsity boys and girls and JH boys and girls. No medals will be awarded in the open race however, fifty participation ribbons will be awarded. The course is relatively flat with one good hill on each loop. We ask that you fill your varsity roster first if possible.
Entry fees will be $100 max per school or $10 per athlete. High School $50 per gender max Junior High $40 per gender max
This year we will be using a timing system. ACTNOW Promotions will be our timing company. Milesplit is where you will need to register your runners. Milesplit will have the results.
We will have concessions available during the meet. Athletes should come dressed out and ready to run. Please put tents behind the outfield softball fence.
