2023 Southwest Conference Track Meet
Date: April 27th, 2023
Site: Royce Stadium/Sarcoxie High School
Time: 4:00 PM
Coaches Meeting: 3:30 PM in the FEMA Weightroom.
Hospitality:
Spikes: 1/4 Spikes only
National Anthem: 3:50 PM
Field Events: 4:00 PM 4 throws or jumps and all finals)
Running Events: 4:30 PM (All running events are finals) * Girls precede Boys!
*All races will be automatically timed with the Eagle Eye Timing System.
Scoring: We will score 1rst through 8th place on a 10- point system: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
**Entries: You may start entering into Mo-milesplit ANYTIME!
Entries need to be posted by Wednesday, April 26th @ 5:00 PM
**ACT NOW Timing will heat the Conference meet this year.
Scratches: Scratches need to be finalized by 9:00 AM Thursday, April 27th.
Entry Limit: 4-events per individual, 3 athletes per school per event, & 1 relay team per school
Awards: Medals will be awarded for the top three finishers in each event.
*All individuals (or relay members) winning an event will be noted as All-Conference for that event.
* Track Athlete of the Year will be determined at this meet through one boy and girl achieving the high point total for the meet.
*Team plaques will be presented to the 1rst place boys and girls teams.
In cases of ties, the points shall be divided and the contestants will flip for the medal.
**You may pickup packets at the pressbox after your last event.
Track Facilities: No tape will be allowed on the track or runways! *PLEASE USE TENNIS BALLS OR CHALK ONLY FOR YOUR MARKS!
*I will have chalk ready at all the applicable field event sites.
Dressing Facilities: There will be no facility designated to dress.
Bus Parking: Busses will drop off athletes at the west gate of the stadium and then proceed to park in the stadium parking lot on the west side as well..
Spectator Parking: Spectators will park in the West parking lot of the stadium.
Trash: Please remind your teams to clean up after the meet and put trash in the proper disposal area.
FB FIELD: ONLY WATER WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TURF! NO FOOD OR GATORADE WHATSOEVER WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TURF/TRACK AS WELL! *PLEASE INFORM YOUR TEAM OF THESE REQUESTS.
Concessions: A concession stand will be available at the meet.
Results: Results will be available on Milesplit as soon as we can.
Hospitality: We will hand out tickets to all coaches and drivers to pick up food at the concession stand.
Games Committee: Sarcoxie, Stockton, Pierce City, and Pleasant Hope
