1.Box Assignments assignments listed above

Parking - Any non-bus vehicles are welcome to park in the North portion of the Gans Creek lot (nearest the road and the restrooms).  All buses (and only buses) should park in the southern part of the lot (nearer finish line).  Additional spectator parking is available across the street from the meet.

3. Payment - Please either bring payment with you or plan on mailing it shortly after the race. Remember that HS teams (guys and girls count as separate teams) are $150 each, and MS teams are $100 each  OR you can pay $25/runner.  Whatever works out best for you.  Checks can be made out to "Harrisburg High School".

4. Packets - Will be available for pickup when you arrive.  There will NOT be a course map included, but you can find a link to the course map on our MoMile event info page.

5. Shirts/Hoodies - We plan on having shirts available for order again this year.  More details TBA.

6. Coach's Hospitality - We plan to have a hospitality table for coaching staff. Please keep your runners out of that until MS races start.  After that, runners are welcome to gobble up whatever is left.

For questions,

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Corey Whitaker, and whitakerc@harrisburg.k12.mo.us

for more information.

1. Packet Pickup for MS and HS will be available starting at 9:30am at Gans on the sidewalk near the athlete village area.

2. There is no JV race. We will have unlimited entries in HS guys and HS girls races.  This speeds up the meet, while giving our JV runners a better running experience.  We will still score top 7 runners for the team score, medal top 25 individuals, and medal first and 2nd place teams.

3.  ALL MS and HS awards will be given around 12:45 noon, after the last race of the day.  Awards will be presented at the podium (unless weather prevents it).

4. MEDALS - Given to top 25 in each MS Race. Top 25 in each Varsity Race. 1st and 2nd Place Team medals for MS and Varsity.

5. PARKING - BUS parking will be available at Gans Creek in the SOUTH LOT (closest to the course).  Van/car parking will be available in the NORTH LOT (by the park bathrooms).  Both lots are accessible by the same entrance to the park at 3350 E Gans Rd, Columbia, MO 65201. Additional parking is available across the street down Bristol Lake Parkway toward Perry Phillips Park.

6. Course Map - Here is a map of the course. https://mo.milesplit.com/meets/341206-gans-creek-classicpre-state-2019/info#.YWhFttrMLcs

MS will run the outer loop only - 3000 Meters. High school runs the inner loop, then the outer loop for a full 5k.  Same as the State Championship Meet.

7. Team Tents can be set up in the flat area to the North of the course (the same as at the Gans Creek Classic and at state. PLEASE DO NOT USE TENT STAKES, as there are sprinklers and underground lines in that area. Please pick up all trash.

8. Restrooms are located off of the North Parking lot.

9. TWO COACHES MEETINGS - 10:10am (for the early schools who have middle school runners and HS runners) and 11:10am (for high school runners).  Feel free to come to either or both.

10. Payment - Please bring a check to the meet if you haven't paid. Payment details are given above related to costs per team and per runner.

11. Special Recognition - This meet is named in honor of Brian Simpson, who was the founding coach of Harrisburg Cross Country.
