Scott City High School Open

Arrival: When you arrive please try to be here before 3:00 or after 3:15 due to school dismissal.

Parking: Parking will be back behind the school in the parking lot by the softball field.

Participating Schools: Scott City, Kennett, Saxony, Oran, Kelly, East Prairie, Charleston, Delta, Scott Central, Sikeston JV, Valle, Notre Dame JV, Richland, Chaffee, Malden and Woodland

Entries For Meet: Make all entries on Milesplit.  Deadline is Sunday April 14th at 10:00 P.M.  Unlimited entries for all events.

Timing: 

Field Events: All field events will start at 3:30 and will be run cafeteria style.  The pits for all jumping events will close at 5:30.  

Field Event Schedule

3:30 Boys and Girls Long Jump: (Cafeteria Style).  Pits close at 5:30

3:30 Boys and Girls Triple Jump: (Cafeteria Style).  Pits close at 5:30

3:30 High Jump: Boys first, then Girls

3:30 Boys Disc, Girls Shot, First: Immediately following Girls Disc and Boys Shot

3:30 Boys and Girls Javelin: (Cafeteria Style).  Closes at 5:30

3:30 Pole Vault: Girls first, then Boys

Javelin:  The runway for Javelin will be a grass runway.  

Starting Heights: Girls High Jump 3'10"; Boys High Jump 4'10".  Pole Vault: TBD

Running Events: Will begin at 4:00 p.m. girls first then boys.  4x800 and 3200 will be ran together.  The 1600 and the 800 will be separate unless the field is small enough to run together.

Track Information: Spikes should be no longer than 1/4"  inch.  Use chalk to mark on runways and jumping areas.

Officials: Mr. Don Harris 

Concessions: There will be a concession stand available.  

Games Committee: All Head Coaches that are not involved with the issue.

Results: All results will be posted on Milesplit.
