Invitational
We will be holding our Cross Country Invitational on the site of Southeast Missouri State Universitys Cross Country Invitational. This is a 2.5 loop, flat, all grass course that should be fast for all runners.

Date: Saturday, Sept 21, 2024
Location: Osage Center 1625 N Kingshighway Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
Events: Varsity and JV 5k, Junior High approx 1.5mile
We will be running Varsity and JV together in the same race. Varsity and JV Places and times will be separated by the electronic timers. This will NOT affect Varsity or JV results. Awards will be given as listed below, by JV and Varsity. Because of this, it is IMPERATIVE that runners are registered in the correct division when coaches register their teams online.Entries are due by Friday, September 20, 2024 at 8AM. If we go beyond 28 teams in any division entries will be closed. Please note that Buses will park off site. We will have a transfer vehicle to help with this.
TIME: 8:30 AM - Coaches Meeting
9:00 AM - High School Boys (Varsity and JV)
9:45 AM - High School Girls (Varsity and JV)
10:30 AM - Jr High Boys
11:00AM. - Jr High Girls
Varsity= Top 7 Runners
Junior Varsity= Unlimited Entries Will wear a wristband to signify difference

Boys 5k - 16:26.30 - Ryan Seabaugh, Cape Central (2022)
Girls 5k - 19:51.32 - Lauren Eftink, Notre Dame (CG) (2022)
Awards: Will be given for the following:
20 medals each for all varsity races
20 medals each for all junior varsity races
15 medals each for junior high (boys and girls)
2 team trophies per each varsity division
1 team trophy for J.V. and Junior High Division
Entry Fees: $200/Team or $50/division (ex-only bringing girls Varsity=$50)
