4. Baylee Bilyeu - Salem, SR
PR - 40-6.25
Bilyeu's first put over 40' came in a big spot at the Class 3 state meet when she went 40-6.25 for 4th overall. She now returns with the 3rd best mark among state competitors, but 4th among returners overall. Bilyeu will hope that big state meet parlays into even bigger things as she eyes a run at a state title in 2018.
3. Brianna Brock - McCluer South-Berkeley, SR
PR - 41-11.25
MSB is well-known in the sprints, but Brianna Brock was also a contributor to the Lady Bulldogs' Class 3 team championship with her 5th place finish in the Class 3 shot put before throwing her 41-11.25 personal best at USATF Jr. Nationals. She has a lot of experience in this event and has competed at state three years in a row already. She was 5th in 2016, too. Brock could grab a top 3 spot and really help spur the Lady Bulldogs on to another team title, especially if she can make strides in the discus.
