The two time defending champion in the Class 3 discus, the junior from Lincoln College Prep should have no problem making it three-for-three this spring. After blowing away the field last spring by 14 feet, DeShazer kept the good times rolling with two heaves over 152-0 at USATF Nationals and AAU Jr. Olympics, ending her season at AAU with a 155-10 toss for the national title. A national champion now, DeShazer should have no problem, as we have said, bringing home another gold in the discus this May.
