Events to Watch:
The 100m will have a real battle for 4th between Abraham Martin and Seth Jensen who are only 4 hundredths of a second apart. Lane Wilson, Justin Nentrup, and John Sharp should all easily advance as well.
Evan Smith and Sean Lowry will be well out in front in the 1600, but there will be a 4 man battle for the final 2 qualifying spots. Marek Smith, Dalton Hendrix, Adian Hiebsch, and Riley Blanchette are only separated by 2 seconds. This should be an exciting finish.
The 3200 should be close as well. Evan Smith and Hunter Hinds shouldn't have trouble qualifying, but Riley Blanchette, Sean Lowry, and Adian Hiebsch will be battling for the final 2 spots.
Outside of Josh Osterdyk, really no one in Long Jump should be comfortable heading into this weekend. Marcus Wright, Gideon Martin, Seth Jensen, Peter Tefft, Zachary Martin, and John Sharp are all within a few inches of each other and it'll be really tight to see which of these six gets the final 3 spots.
Triple is equally as tight. Daunte Stafford is well ahead of the pack, but Gideon Martin, Logan Sparkman, Ethan Lander, Gage Burns, and Josh Osterdyk will all be competing for those final 3 spots.
William Hale, Aden Sisseck, and Gerardo Nunez should easily qualify in Javelin. Competing for that 4th and final spot will be Shane Mitchell, Caden Sims, and Caden Hazell who are within a few feet of each other.
Hale, Colin White, and Keith Johnson should all three be safely to Sectionals in Shot. Austin Johnson and Tate Maneval are tied at 40-10 for 4th so it should be super close to decide who moves on.
