Class 3 District 3
The Championships for District 3 will be ran at Spanish Lake Park on Saturday. In the Boys race Brody Whalen comes in with the fastest time with a 16:46 on a fast Orchard Farm course, but he will likely be challenged by a group of boys around the 17:00 barrier. Track Star Brandon Miller is on of those with a season best of 17:03, along with George Gelzer (17:03), and Jacob Conrad (17:10). Clayton looks to be the favorite for the team title with a projected 47 points, narrowly defeating priory with 49. Westminster also has a shot to jump into the top 2 with a projected 64 points.
The girls race is lead by Defending State Champion Kylie Goldfarb who comes in with a season best of 19:32. Amanda Espy also comes in with the ninth fastest time in Class 3 with a 19:51 season best. Westminster and MICDS look like they'll run away with the State Spots with Westminster taking the title via a 32-49 projected score.
