St. Joseph Central's Makenzie Garr won the discus (37.31) and shot put (11.45).
In a unique part of the meet, Liberty's standout vaulter Rachel Homoly jumped with the boy vaulters. She had better heights than nine of them. Homoly finished with a height of 4.23 meters (13-10 ½ feet). The only person to beat her was Park Hill's Chancellor Caudle, who jumped 14 feet.
The home team, Blue Springs, did well too as the Wildcats had elite performances from Olivia Dixon (200 meter dash), Kayleigh Jenkins (high jump), Arianna Calloway (long jump), Ashton Arndt (javelin) and Kadence Shepherd (javelin).
