Three girls track and field athletes combined for seven of the 15 elite performances at the meet on the girls side. Akins had elite times in the 200 and 400, though her 200 time had to be switched to hand time due to an error with the machine. She walked off the track knowing she won the race but didn't know her time.
Kirkwood's Genesis Dixon swept the hurdles winning the 100 in 14.10 seconds and the 300 in 45.64. She added another title in the long jump with a distance of 5.47 meters.
