MileSplit is on location in Lawrence Kansas for the 2011 KU Relays. Our coverage includes results, photos and breaking news throughout the day. The girls from Lee's Summit West started the meet off with a statement winning the girls 4 x 1 mile in a new meet record time of 21:17.74 while the boys from Truman High School won in a time of 18:23.
Asia Thomas (Cape Central) and Mike Hester (Hazelwood Central) were the top Missouri qualifiers in the 400 Meter Dash with times of 57.04 and 48.57 respectively.
Missouri runners dominated the 3200, winning both boys and girls races. Colleen Quigley (Nerinx Hall) ran away with the girls race winning in a time of 10:44, 14 seconds over second place runner Courtney Wood (Neosho). On the boys side it was Caleb Hoover (College Heights) coming out on top with a time of 9:11. David Everett (Westminster) was the second Missouri finisher coming in third with a time of 9:17.

Neosho Girls came out on top in the Distance Medley Relay, while Evan Adams of Carthage outkicked the field to help lead his team to a first place finish.

In the 800 it was Ladue's Sam Levin that came out on top with a time 2:10.07. Lindbergh's Colleen Riley also had a strong showing running a 2:13.72 to finish thrid. On the boys side it was Rockwood Summit's Dan Mazar that blasted away from the field with 300 to go to run a 1:54.03. Other top Missouri runners were Tyler Banks (Oak Grove) and Curt Wood (Rockwood Summit), running 1:56.37 and 1:56.69 to finish thrid and fourth.
