There will be 3500 runners at Forest Park on Saturday, Missouri MileSplit's David Everett brings you 11 Missouri females in random order to watch.

Sophia Racette, Nernix Hall, FR – Racette made her debut running a 12:14 2 mile on a very hot day.  She has ran some great times but this will be her first time in a large high school race.

Kayla Funkenbusch, Rock Bridge, FR – She won the Liberty Invitational over her teammate.  With Long, Racette, and Funkenbusch, the freshman will make an impact this Saturday.

Jill Whitman, Cor Jesu, SO – Whitman finished 12th last year as a freshman.  She has no results from this weekend but she is someone to watch out for come Saturday.

Bridgette Caruthers, Branson, JR – Caruthers got off to a good start winning the SWCCA meet by 11 seconds.  She finished 20th last year in the mud, and 41st as a freshman.  Watch for her as she is capable of running a very fast time as she comes in with a sub 18 PR.

Alyssa Jones, Rockwood Summit, JR – Jones made a name for herself last year finishing 7th at State XC.  She finished 8th in the 3200m in the spring, watch for her to come out strong this fall at Forest Park.

Kaitlyn Fischer, Herculaneum, JR – With Potosi not in the registered teams, Fischer comes back the top retuner from last year.  She finished 4th last year. Fischer is one of the strongest runners in the fields, watch for her to be pushing the pace.

Conradette King, Jefferson City, SR – King finished third two years ago as a sophomore.  However, she slipped to 15th last year.  We have no results for her this year but she could be a factor if she runs like she did two years ago at this race.

Sam Garrett, Rock Bridge, SR – Garrett leads a very strong Rock Bridge team.  She finished second behind her freshman teammate last week.  Garrett also finished 10th last year at this meet so watch for her experience to come into play.

Taylor Dickerson, Jackson, SR – Dickerson won the Jackson Invitational.  She returns after a 17th place finish in the mud.  She ran a 5:03 last spring the finish 9th.  Dickerson is a strong runner and should be in the mix.

Jasmine Edwards, Kearney, SR – Representing Class 3, Edwards finished 5th last fall at the State meet.  She had a rough start finishing 6th at the Jim Marshall Invitational but watch for her to bounce back this weekend.

Hannah Long, Eureka, FR – One of the biggest questions of the meet, will Hannah Long make her high school debut?  She did not run at the Fleet Feet XC Kickoff but when she does she will be a force.
