Preview
With an almost entirely need field, this event should be a close one. The top mark from sectionals belongs to Maplewood’s Lawrence Hogue. Hogue returns from last year where he ran the 400 at the state meet. This trip to Jefferson City will be a bit busier for the senior as he is entered in three open events. The top mark in Class 2 for the season belongs to Gunner Rudroff who jumped 22-4.5 at his conference meet. Since then he has had a low 21 footer and a high 20 footer at sectionals.
