Preview
This one should be an interesting one. There is the top ranked jumper, sophomore Kalenna Logan. Her 35-6 at districts is the best in Class 2. However, she was defeated by last year’s silver medalist Tori Blythe at sectionals. Blythe has made it to State in both the long jump and triple jump for two years in a row now, but the triple is her stronger event. Also in the field is a talented freshman, Molly Shoop. Shoop was a sectional victor and recorded the third best jump in Class 1 for the year- 35-3.5. Kelly’s Samantha Ratledge also has jumped in the 35’s and could be in the top three this weekend. With Sydney Deeken moving up a class, this event is up for grabs.
