Taylor Werner defended her title at the Forest Park XC Festival with another jaw dropping performance. Taylor broke her course record from 2012 by 12 seconds recording a US#1 time of 16:46 for 5000 meters.
In the guys race, Patrick Perrier of O'Fallon Il avenged his second place finish in 2012 by defeating the defending champion Noah Kauppila capping a day that saw course records in both the guys and girls division broken on a perfect day for racing.
