Preview
Marquette senior Noah Kauppila will have one more go around in Jeff City and looks prepared to defend his 800 state title from last year. Noah has had a solid season running 4:13 at his conference meet and breaking 1:55 twice already. Last year as a junior Noah came into State with PRs of 1:55.39/4:13/8:54. This year Stephen Mugeche (a junior) comes into Jeff City with PRs of 1:55.27/4:12/8:58. Mugeche was second to Noah in the fall and both have shown tremendous range. Outside of these two look for Myles Cameron of Hazelwood Central who has a quick PR of 1:55.18 and Dylan Quisenberry, the super sophomore out of Lafayette who has run 4:11/1:55 already this year.
