Menghini, 14th in Class 4 for XC, has been on a roll since state. Her 73rd place finish at Foot Locker Midwest was fourth best for athletes from the Show-Me State. She followed that up with a 5th place finish at AAU Nationals and a 2nd place finish at the USATF Junior Olympics in a PR of 18:14. Her time from this weekend brings down her PR nearly 30 seconds. She beat a quality field including Lafayette's Sarah Nicholson and Anna West. Additionally, her time was the 10th fastest time for the 3200m across the nation for this past weekend as well as 28th for the entire year.
Honorable Mention: Jordan McClendon, Senior, John Burroughs, Weight Throw, 55-9.75
McClendon moves into the top ten nationally after throwing 55-9.75 in the weight throw. This is only the third time that we have her competing in this event.
