Often the most exciting events in a track and field meet is the 4x400. A lot of teams take a great sense of pride in being able to dominate the last event of a track meet. Boy's relays are very difficult due to the fact that most teams are dominated by strong senior classes. The top returning teams on our list have at least three members of their relay coming back for the 2017 season. A couple of the top teams are now missing their stud anchor legs. The athletes running the last leg will have huge spikes to fill as many anchor legs last season ran 47 seconds or fast en route to all-state medals. Both Hazelwood West and Raytown South must replace their nationally ranked anchor legs.
