Some of the top sprinters in the state from last year are set to return this spring and bring with them some speedy personal bests. State 100m runner-up Jon Redmond (Liberty North) and returning state 200m champ Jayson Ashford (St. Louis University High) lead the charge into 2017. Ashford's 21.13 ranks him as the 17th best returning 200m runner in the nation (all conditions).
About the ratings: We rated the top returning short sprinters in the state based the top 5000 marks in the country in 2016. A score of 100 represents the top time in the nation in 2016. Please note, all times are included in the ratings regardless of wind or FAT status. The ratings are subjective and do not reflect Missouri MileSplit's personal ranking of the athletes.
