St. Louis giveth and St. Louis taketh away. Lindbergh might have been strong in 2016-17 behind the talented Coach Kally Fischer, but they weren't strong enough to overcome the beast that is Sectional 1 in 2016. Lindbergh placed a surprising 5th when it appeared that they should have been a lock for a state trip. They had a number of fantastic performances in the spring and will return a strong crop of girls. Abigail Juedemann - our C4 #15 - leads the way after an electric track season. She now boasts 2:21, 5:07, and 7:27 (2K Steeple) PRs and returns with a 19:15 5K from the state meet. Jenny Weaver returns for her junior year after a disappointing sophomore campaign. As a freshman in 2015, Weaver ran 18:54, but was unable to go under 20:00 in 2016. She came on strong toward the end and a solid return over the spring so she is one to watch heading into 2017. Even after losing 3 impressive talents to graduation, Lindbergh should be competitive this year and look to make their first trip to Oak Hills since 2010.
