Fantasy Cross Country Week 2 Review: Team Wang Goes 2-for-2

Week 2 was a much better week for yours truly. After a number of brain farts and missed opportunities, I was able to clean it up a little bit and take 3rd this week. Ryan Riddle's 15:16 was a huge 2-spot for me and Christian Blake Procell and Ean Buffington were very clutch for me as well. Where I'm hurting a bit right now is at the back end of my scorers, but I know as the season wears on, I have the pieces to make a jump. Hopefully I can get my back-end scorers moving and get Ryan Flood in a 5K this weekend. With Ean Buffington currently as my 4, I'm feeling very confident in my team.

2 Mile times were not converted this week which hurt a few teams. 3 Mile times were, though, which really only helped out Team Crowe (SLUH's Patrick Hetlage). Team Wang took the win this week for the second straight time and that was without Nassim Oufattole. He looks very strong right now, especially after his addition of Peter Campbell. I mean, there's nothing else to say besides the man's team is STACKED. Hackett was just two points ahead of me, benefiting from Victor Mugeche's 15:11 and Tom Seitzer's 16:00. Blake Selm used Memphis to run an early season 16:22 to give him a solid top 3. Rubin/Hoffman was hurt the most by the lack of 2 Miles being scored this week as that left them with only 1 finisher -- Caleb Boys of West Plains. Wang and Hackett are out to commanding leads so far this season, but Spewak is tracking only 1 point behind Hackett and Szabo is 3 points back of him in 4th. If Wang can pull off a victory in Week 3, we may just have to call it a season and give the title to him. Just kidding, but that would be something... Here's how it all shook out:
