Pre-Season Rankings: Class 2 3200m

4. Emily Colin - College Heights Christian, SO

PR - 12:45.33

Colin was absent from cross country her freshman year, but apparently realized she may be pretty good at this whole running thing after 6:04/12:45 personal bests in her first track season. She parlayed that success into an 8th place medal in the 3200 in 2017 and then ran 21:39 in her first cross country season. Colin returns as one of the top 5 girls in Class 2 and should be a shoo-in for another medal this spring.

3. Bailey Hays - Monroe City, SO

PR - 12:20.29

Monroe City does not compete in cross country in the fall so all we have to go off is one track season from this sophomore, but it was a highly successful one. Hays ran the 3200 10 times her freshman year, but ran under 13:00 all 10 times. She also ran 8 sub-6:00 1600s, but we placed her just ever-so-slightly behind our #2 ranked athlete, though we could just as easily have ranked her 2nd.
