4. Kaylee Foster - Fair Play, SO
PR - 12:26.75
Foster enjoyed great success in her freshman campaign, grabbing a 8th place medal in her first trip to Oak Hills and then turning it into trips to the state track meet in the 1600 and 3200. She left that state track meet with a 5th place medal in the 3200 and took 12th in the 1600, but returns as one of only a handful under 12:30. We are not sure what happened to hold her out of this year's state cross country meet after she took 3rd in District 5, but we expect to see big things out of Foster this spring and in the coming years should she return full go.
3. Alyssa Francis - Paris, JR
PR - 12:24.90
The first of two Paris Coyotes profiled in this article, Francis comes in as a strong pick for a top 3 finish at this spring's Class 1 3200 after finishing out her 2017 race with a 12:24.90 personal best, good enough for 4th. Francis is another one who does not get a chance in the fall, but her 5:36/12:24 resume puts it on good authority that she is a top Class 1 talent returning for 2018.
