8. Abigail Juedemann - Lindbergh, JR
PR - 2:21.77
Juedemann had a fantastic cross country season and we should prepare to see her headlining multiple races this spring. Juedemann was 10th in the 800 and 5th in the 1600 last year, but she showed that she has the chops to race with the best of them...and be the best of them. Her 2:21.77 probably would have been under 2:20 had it not have been for the 1600 fiasco last spring, especially considering her 2:20.4 split in the 4x8. Keep an eye on Juedemann in the 800 this spring.
7. Laurana Mitchell - Raymore-Peculiar, JR
PR - 2:20.70
Mitchell was the toughest luck 9th place finisher this spring in the 800, but was also on the 4th place 4x800 relay on day 1. She was the #5 for the 3rd place Panthers this fall and returns with a strong supporting cast to carry her along this season. Mitchell's 2:20.70 comes with a 5:28.71 1600 personal best, too, and we should expect to see her challenge for a podium spot this spring after a successful cross country season.
