Valdivia gets the nod in a tightly contested race for 3rd between her, Juedemann, and Miranda Dick. Valdivia finished out her sophomore year with a 5:06.31 personal best for 4th at state last spring, and was under 5:10 three other times. She was also able to grab 6th in the 3200 in a similarly impressive 11:13.18. This fall, she broke under 18:30 on the always quick Camdenton course, but also dropped an 18:57.47 when it matter most and took 6th in November. Valdivia may not be a household name in Missouri, but she continues to build a resume that will make her a top contender in her senior campaign of cross country and track.
