3. Merrideth Spiers - Worth County, SO

Fourth as a freshman, Spiers appears ready to explode onto the Class 1 Discus scene. She is only six feet behind our top returner and number ranked athlete, but after throwing the fourth best mark among all freshmen last spring, Spiers will be a solid pick to make that jump and could be jumpstarting an impressive and hardware-filled career in this event.
