Mid-Season Team Rankings: Top 4 Girls Teams Per Class

Class 1

1. West Platte

Projected Point Total: 54.06

West Platte currently leads a very tight race for the Class 1 title. Sophia Rush is currently ranked 2nd and 7th in the 3200m and 1600m, while Lexi Elmore is ranked 5th in the 3200. Emily Norman is ranked 4th in the 100H,  Mikenna Peters is ranked 5th in both the 100H and 300H. Faith Stevens and Lexie Smither are both tied for 5th in High Jump, and Lea Moose is currently 6th in the Pole Vault. They are scoring in all 4 relays, with the 2nd fastest 4x100, 3rd 4x800, 4th 4x400, and 5th 4x200.


2. Glasgow

Projected Point Total: 53

Glasgow is just behind  West Platte at 2nd place in Class 1. Alyssa Yung is their leading scorer as she's 1st in the Triple Jump and third in Long Jump. Kristin Stockhorst currently sits 3rd in the 400m, and is ranked 4th in the 200m as well. Hadley Sanders picks up points in the distance events with a 6th place ranking in both the 800m and 1600m. Glasgow also holds claim to the fastest 4x200 and 4x400 in Class 1. 


3. New Haven

Projected Point Total: 46

New Haven comes into the week ranked 3rd in Class 1. They get the majority of their points from Jumps as Emma Engelbrecht is ranked 1st and 3rd in Long and Triple, and Lauren Gerlemann is ranked 4th and 6th in Long and Triple as well. Gerlemann is also ranked 7th in Discus, while Kate Ruediger is ranked 1st in Javelin. They score in all the sprint relays as well with a 4th ranked 4x200, 6th 4x100, and 7th 4x400.


4. St. Joseph Christian

Projected Point Total: 43

St. Joseph Christian rounds out the trophy winners in Class 1 with a 4th place ranking. Audrey Maggart currently sits 2nd in the 800m and 3rd in the 1600, while Anna Carter is 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 3200. Brooklyn Miller is currently 1st in High Jump, and is 5th in Javelin. They also lay claim to the 8th fastest 4x200m.
