Allie Gibbs (Steelville)
As the Runner Up in both 2016 and 2017, Allie will look to secure a State Championship this year with rival Brianna Haller having graduated. She has the fastest returning time in Class 2 by over a minute with an 18:17. In Track this year she was State Champion in both the 1600m and 3200m, and took 5th in the 800m as well.
Kate Klott (Bowling Green)
With All-State finishes in each of her first three seasons, including a 4th place finish last year, Kate will look to make it 4 for 4 this Fall. She has the third fastest returning time in Class 2 with a 19:40 and she'll look to build upon that. She had another successful season on the track this Spring with a 4th place finish at State in the 1600m with a time of 5:21.
Alyssa Struemph (Fatima)
Another 3 time All-Stater, Alyssa will look to improve upon her 6th place finish last season. Her season best of 20:04 is the 5th fastest returning time in Class 2 this season. In track Alyssa was able to pick up another State Medal this year with her 7th place finish in the 3200m.
Jordan Heacock (Jefferson R-VII)
Jordan will look to improve upon her 8th place at State a year ago with a top 5 finish this year. Her PR of 20:11 is the seventh fastest returning time in Class 2, and she's just a few ticks from 5th. She just barely missed out on a State Medal on the Track with a 9th place finish in the 3200m.
