Class 3's Top 800m Runners to Watch in 2019

There are seven boys returning in the Class 3 Boys 800m that qualified for State last year, including five State Medalists.

800m Phenom Brandon Miller is the defending State Champion, and is by far the most prolific 800m in Missouri. Since 2010 Miller has won 36 of 37 races at the 800m across middle school and high school, competing both in state and nationally. His PR of 1:49.55 from State last year is the second fastest returning 800m time in the United States this year. The sky is the limit for Brandon Miller, and I know we're all excited to see what he can do this year. Below you can find my subjective rankings and honorable mentions for the Class 3 Boys 800m.
