Missouri Boys Performer of the Week (Oct. 17-22)

It's time to vote for the Missouri Boys Performer Of The Week for Week 8!

This week saw quite a few impressive performances. But first congrats to Myles Thornburg of Liberty for being last week's winner. He's the second Blue Jay to win this season. 

This week's nominees are ...

Bradley Deering, Maryville

Took second place in the Midland Empire Conference championship held in Cameron, running 17:15.34. That was the best time and highest finish for the sophomore.

Chase Sorrell, East Newton

The junior claimed the Big 8 Conference championship on Oct. 18, running a career-best 15:38.23. It was also his third straight win of the season and fourth overall.

Kyle Craigmiles, Jackson

Jackson had three of the top four finishers, led by the senior Craigmiles, who took second. The Indians won the seven-team Dexter Invitational with 31 points.

Sam Shipp, Fox High School

Shipp won his third meet of the season, running 16:17.50 to win the Big River PR Invitational on Oct. 21. It was also his career-best time in the 5K.

Caleb Ricker, Van Buren 

Win No. 5 on the year for the senior came in the Big Spring Conference meet on Oct. 19. He ran a career-best 16:47.50.
