Smithton senior Riley Bryan checks her watch just before the 2-mile mark on her way to winning the Class 2 state title, a year after claiming the Class 1 crown. Bryan didn't start running until after her freshman year of high school, and is headed to Springfield to run and study at Missouri State University.

Hermann's Alaina Worland (#520), Alaina Heaney (#515), and Elaina Uthlaut (right), run about 3150-meters into the Class 2 girls race, where the trio helped the Bearcats to a 2nd-place finish, giving them a 2nd consecutive state trophy.
Teammates to the Tape Together
Mansfield sophomore Faith Clark (right, #545), and teammate, senior Logan Jones sprint to the finish just before the finish "tape", taking 22nd and 23rd to earn All-State honors in Class 2, and helping their team place 7th with just five runners.
