Sorrell, Walker headline Class 3 SWCCCA boys team

The Southwest Cross Country Coaches Association Class 3 boys team featured a shared winner for top runner of the year.

East Newton's Chase Sorrell and Buffalo's Sean Walker shared this year's award. Both were all-state runners this past season with Sorrell taking third and Walker placing 13th.

Both won their respective conference titles, with Sorrell winning the Big 8 Cross Country Meet and Walker taking first in the Ozark Highland Conference Championships.

Six El Dorado Springs Bulldogs made the team and that helped Brian Goatley earn the coach of the year honors.
