Photos: Top boys photos from the 100th Kansas Relays

Last week's Kansas Relays was the 100th anniversary and 93rd total running in Lawrence, Kansas.

Teams from across the region attended the meet at Rock Chalk Park, including those from throughout Missouri. Here are some of our favorite photos from the boys' races and events. The Liberty North boys team of Asher Curp, Sage Wilde, Grayson Tapp and Sean Forquer ran a meet record 17:47.74 in the 4x1,600-meter relay. Olathe North (Kansas) held the previous mark since 2014 at 17:50.88.

Running alone (Cover photo): Rock Bridge's Ian Kemey ran for the Bruins in the 4x1,600-meter relay, the first race on Friday. The Bruins were second in the race behind Liberty North

Splash landing: Joplin's Grey Edwards lands in the pool of water in the 2,000-meter steeplechase race. He finished fifth in the race in 6:39.80 and second among Missouri runners.



Small School, Big Meet: West Platte's Charlie Kinslow runs next to Farmington's Evan Fuller In the 800--meter run. Kinslow, a Class 2 standout, placed 17th in the race. Fuller fell back some and finished 34th. 



Tiebreakers all around: Park Hill's Kendrick Bell jumped 1.98 meters (6 feet, 6 inches), one of four to clear that height but Bell took third place overall on tiebreakers. The top height was also decided by a tiebreaker.
