Flying Mule
Poplar Bluff's Darius Graham clears the bar in the Class 5 Boys High Jump. The Mules junior cleared 2.09m/6-10.25 to win the state title.
Statement or Squad
With a Tiger logo on the front of his jersey and "REPMO" on the back, Republic's Zion Allen leaps towards the bar on his way to a 4th-place finish in the Class 5 Boys event with a clearance of 1.97m/6-5.5.
Park Hill senior Jordan Rider lets the javelin fly in the Class 5 Boys Javelin. Rider had a best toss of 54.50m/178-10 to take 2nd.
Trojan Trio
The Park Hill Trojans put three boys on the Class 5 high jump podium with junior Legend Freedom finishing in a two-way tie for 8th (2nd from right), senior Kendrick Bell 3rd, and junior Desire Tonye Nyemeck 2nd. The threesome scored 14.5 points in the event as Park Hill totaled 22.5 points to finish 1/2 point ahead of Rockhurst and place 9th in the team standings.
