POLL: Missouri Boys XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 2-8)


The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top boys performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Oct. 2 -8.

Polling starts on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. CT and ends on Friday at 12 p.m.

Zane Novinger, Nixa
The sophomore won the 22nd Annual Cedar Ridge Invitational on Saturday, part of a 1-2-3 finish for the Eagles. 

Charlie Murray, SLUH
The senior won the Metro Catholic Conference championships with a time of 16:34 during the race held on Thursday. The Jr. Bills won the conference title for the 20th year in a row.

Evan Fuller, Farmington 
At the Potosi Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 7, the senior won with a time of 16:42.72, beating teammate Mason Currington. The victory was the fourth this year for Fuller, who is a senior.

Conner Soendker, Lexington ​
​​​​​​By the slimmest of margins, the sophomore picked up a win at the Battle of Lexington XC Invitational on Saturday, winning with a time of 17:01.97 - a mere four-tenths faster than teammate Chael Lichte.
