2024 Results

Congrats to last week's winner Desire Tonye Nyemeck from Park Hill.  A runner-up in Class 5 last year in the high jump, cleared 2.09 meters/6-feet, 10 1/4 inches - a new personal best - to win the event at the Gary Parker Invitational. The mark puts him atop the state performance list and ties him for 10th on the national performance list

Last week's Missouri standouts include some school records and other great performances!

There was...

Tyler Anderson, Ft. Zumwalt East

He moved up to No. 1 spot in the 800-meter run in the state with a time of 1:53.99 at the Ft. Zumwalt East Invitational on April 15. It was also a state record for the Southeast Missouri State signee.

Reid Harrison, Cole Camp

The reigning Class 2 champion in the 100-meter dash is now No. 1 in the state after running a 10.41 at the Bluebird Invitational on April 17 -- his home meet -- to set a personal record. His previous best time was 10.80. Along with winning the 100, he won the 200 and was second in the 400 in the meet.

Bryce Mitchell, Lee's Summit

At the Kansas Relays on April 18, he set a personal record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.11 to take third place in the race. His time is now No. 1 in the state in the event and he's dropped time in all four meets he's run this race.

The Gophers standout put up quite a showing in the hurdles at the Kansas Relays, winning both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles on April 20. The Wichita State signee won the 110 in 13.77 and the 300 in 37.68 -- both No. 1 on the state leaderboard this year and both his best efforts.
